Made exclusively from grapes from a state vineyard located within the National Park Lagunas de Laguardia which has a very special Microclimate, influenced by the nearby salt-water lakes.
45 year old vineyard with limited yield: 4500 kg/ha
Hand harvest in 15 kg boxes and selection table.
Fermentation and maceration in low volume stainless steel tanks of 7000 kg for 20 days.
Age in American and French oak barrels (Quercus sessilis and Alba) without filtration, for 14 months.
6-8 months ageing in bottle before being released.
